Tomato and Tofu Salad with Ponzu Sauce and Sesame Seeds

Ponzu Sauce

  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 lime
  • 1/2 orange
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 tablespoons sake


  • 4 ounces mixed baby greens
  • 1 (8-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 8 ounces soft tofu, large dice
  • 2 teaspoons sesame seeds

For ponzu sauce, squeeze juice from lemon, lime and orange into a container with a tight-fitting lid. Add remaining ingredients; cover and shake until well mixed. Let stand for at least 36 hours at room temperature.

For salad, combine tomatoes, greens, tofu and sesame seeds in a large bowl. Toss with ponzu sauce and serve immediately.
