Roasted Garlic And Tomato Sauce

  • 10 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1/3 cup (3 ounces) olive oil
  • 1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes
  • 10 fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper

Hot cooked spaghetti

Toss garlic with olive oil and spread in single layer on baking sheet. Roast in oven at 350ºF for about 20 minutes. Turn into a large pot. Add tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 20 minutes. Spoon over hot cooked spaghetti; toss gently and serve at once.
